Filter exploration

Product: Search Pod

Role: Sr. UX Designer

Purpose: Provide user-friendly, WCAG accessible, and stakeholder approved designs for features to be implemented on the search page of Hilton that will allow end users to shop for the hotel of their choice.

Objective

The current filter drawer is minimal and needs to be prepared for when additional filter options will be added. Many users are familiar with the left panel filter that you can find on most websites. This exploration allowed for creation of a filter panel that solves for search, subsets (+10 rooms) and future filter options (distance, themes, etc.).
